Title: Temporary A&D Design Manager, RLA+D Studio

Location: New York, NY

Duration: ASAP – 6 months

Responsibilities

• Designs shop-in-shops that reflect the latest creative vision for each brand, ensuring an elevated brand experience for the customers.
• Manages project requirements with internal partners, including Store Development, Visual Merchandising, Decorative and Construction, and external suppliers, including Millworkers and General Contractors.
• Produces schematic design drawings and design development packages for new shops, renovations and restorations.
• Manages external consultants and suppliers effectively to ensure projects are executed to the brand's standards.
• Reviews and approves construction drawings and millwork shop drawings.
  
  

Requirements

• Education in Architecture or similar field.
• Experience in retail design, similar commercial projects or high-end residential.
• Good understanding of all phases of an architectural project.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple competing priorities effectively.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel), Microsoft Project and SketchUp.
