Responsibilities

• Perform service, installation, and activation of security and audio/video systems, including surround sound, speakers, TVs, remote controls, and automation products.
• Communicate with customers to review work orders and answer questions professionally.
• Instruct and train customers on system functions and operations.
• Work as a Trim Technician when required.
• Understand security system operations, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Handle after-hours emergency service calls on a rotation basis.
• Understand monitoring protocols and communicate pricing for monitoring services.
• Troubleshoot and repair security and wiring issues.
• Install and train customers on AV components.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in security and A/V installations.
• Control4 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of cable types, networking, and system design.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have or be willing to obtain necessary tools.
• Background check, drug screening, and clean MVR required.
• Vocational schooling preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

• Regularly stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds; occasional lifts up to 100 pounds.
• Work includes active construction sites, temperature/humidity changes, and dust; moderate noise levels.
