Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, and fostering a belonging workplace culture. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, and promoting continuous learning. Leads teams through training, store tours, and feedback, ensuring effective communication and collaboration regarding store operations, technology, and business initiatives. Demonstrates exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and promotes ethical standards. Drives financial performance through P&L review, budgeting, inventory management, and sales growth strategies. Embraces diversity, builds trust, acts with integrity, prioritizes customer needs, and seeks continuous improvement. The annual salary range is $65,000-$80,000, with additional performance bonuses and possible location-based pay adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
