About the Role

We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Senior Vice President of Music Operations to join our dynamic team. In this key leadership role, you will spearhead the company's music and licensing strategy, focusing on growth and innovation while fostering collaboration across departments. You will lead a talented team of music professionals, establish music and licensing objectives, and nurture our relationships within the music industry.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of music operations, including budget management and cross-functional growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field, preferably in law, and possess at least 12 years of experience in music licensing negotiation, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. A deep understanding of U.S. music licensing structures and digital licensing models is crucial.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong business acumen and exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship management. A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, along with experience in music streaming, DSPs, or media/entertainment platforms, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with emerging music technologies and data licensing practices is also desired.
