Our client is looking for an Editorial Research and Fact-Check Coordinator to join their Editorial team.

This is a 12-month, full-time project at 40 hours/week and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure content integrity by fact-checking across reputable sources and upholding the highest editorial standards.
  • Translate complex business and financial information into clear, engaging, and accessible narratives and visuals.
  • Conduct deep-dive research to support stories, case studies, and long-form content that inform leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate with editors, producers, and creative partners to deliver accurate, timely, and polished content.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging topics, identifying opportunities to strengthen content and spark discussion.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in fact-checking, research, or editorial coordination (digital, print, audio, or video).
  • Strong business acumen and comfort working with data, financial reports, and industry research.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Naturally curious, resourceful, and proactive
  • Experience with data visualization and editorial style guides is a plus!

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $50-60/hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
