Reports to the Public Outreach Director and serves as junior graphic designer to senior graphic designer to manage the image and brand of the agency by designing educational/outreach materials, graphics, illustrations, and logos, publications and templates for agency programs and initiatives. Serves as production assistant to senior videographer to capture or assist with capturing video footage and photos, and recording audio; editing assets to produce videos, radio and TV advertisements and digital photos; provides Audio/Visual (A/V) assistance as needed; provides assistance with additional projects as needed. Properly maintains all equipment on behalf of the agency.
State Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and relevant experience. An associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

A bachelor’s degree and/or additional education in preferably in Art, Graphic Design, Commercial Arts, Media Arts or a related field. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite Software Acrobat Professional, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Knowledge of printing techniques and principals. Knowledge of video editing and production and related software/equipment.
DRIVING RECORD:If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver’s license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
