Reports to the Public Outreach Director and serves as a junior graphic designer, working closely with the senior graphic designer to manage the agency's image and brand. Responsibilities include designing educational/outreach materials, graphics, illustrations, logos, publications, and templates for agency programs and initiatives. Also serves as a production assistant to the senior videographer, assisting with capturing video footage and photos, recording audio, editing assets to produce videos, radio, TV advertisements, and digital photos. Provides Audio/Visual (A/V) support as needed and assists with additional projects. Properly maintains all equipment on behalf of the agency.
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience. An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements:
Applicants with college credit or degrees should upload an unofficial transcript. An official, certified copy of the transcript or diploma will be required prior to hiring.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and/or additional education in Art, Graphic Design, Commercial Arts, Media Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Knowledge of printing techniques, video editing, production, and related software/equipment is also preferred.
DRIVING RECORD: If the position requires operating a state or personal vehicle, final candidates must provide a certified 10-year driving record.
