We are currently seeking a Community Manager for our Easy Living and Pine Hills communities located in Lawrence, Kansas, to oversee daily administration, operations, and personnel management in an efficient, professional, and profitable manner.

As a Community Manager, you will:

  1. Manage and deposit daily collections of all monthly rents, late fees, etc.
  2. Pursue delinquent rents and perform evictions in accordance with state and landlord laws, attending court proceedings as needed.
  3. Hire, train, motivate, and manage onsite staff to meet deadlines, and administer discipline with proper documentation.
  4. Demonstrate leadership, maintain professional communication, and adhere to company policies and appearance standards.
  5. Inspect community grounds and homes to ensure a presentable appearance.
  6. Manage maintenance staff tasks through the Maintenance Work Order system.
  7. Enter lead information in the Lead Tracker System and complete guest cards.
  8. Process, approve, and forward invoices promptly; maintain petty cash and track expenses and receipts.
  9. Maintain employee files, timesheets, and records for accurate compensation and benefits.
  10. Analyze reports regularly and address discrepancies or issues.
  11. Handle accidents, emergencies, and mechanical needs, reporting to the corporate office and preparing necessary reports. Availability outside normal hours may be required.
  12. Oversee refurbishing of community-owned homes.
  13. Ensure safety by addressing issues promptly to maintain a secure environment.
  14. Build relationships with residents and respond to their needs.
  15. Coordinate advertising, promotions, and presentations of homes as directed by the Regional Manager.

Qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of property management experience with proven management skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook); MRI experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Proven leadership and team collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurability under company policy; ability to commute between communities.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
