Part-time Music/Worship Leader

Serve as the primary person responsible for coordinating the music ministry of Hollywood Baptist Church.

Part-Time Music/Worship Ministry Responsibilities

1. Develop, organize, and administer the overall music ministry of the church.
2. Responsible for congregational singing at all worship services.
3. Organize choir anthems each week for the Sunday morning service.
4. Oversee special music for Sunday services, revivals, and other special events.
5. Coordinate musical training programs for children and youth.
6. Arrange for special music and musicians for revivals, homecomings, weddings, funerals, and other events.
7. Maintain a neatly organized library of church music, filed alphabetically.
8. Communicate effectively with musicians and sound staff to plan weekly services.
9. Prepare an annual budget for the Music Ministry for approval by the Finance Committee and church during the annual business meeting.
10. Keep records of copied music as required by the CCLI License.

• Ability to cooperate with staff to promote unity and carry out the church's ministry plan.
• Commitment to maintain personal standards of godliness based on biblical principles, resulting in a credible ministry.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one, small, and large group settings, with a confident and enthusiastic attitude.
• Must be circumspect in dress and demeanor.
