Create, produce, write, and edit complex and in-depth multi-platform enterprise news stories in the Omaha Metro area for publication on Nebraska Public Media’s Omaha-focused digital news and culture sites, "The Reader" and its Spanish language counterpart, "El-Perico", and on the station’s broadcast platforms. Utilize strong writing and original storytelling skills. Propose, produce, write, and present regional and national projects. Mentor reporters and student workers.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications, or related field and five years of news reporting experience as an enterprise or investigative journalist; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience in developing, writing, and producing in-depth news content. Strong interpersonal, reporting, and researching skills. Familiarity with filing public records requests. Knowledge of news reporting, copywriting, editing, and current events. Demonstrated computer literacy.
