Wasserman Music is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our global Music Communications team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live music, storytelling, and the intersection of media, marketing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal & External Communications
• Support press outreach efforts by maintaining and updating media contact lists, press trackers, and coverage reports
• Assist in drafting, proofreading, and distributing press releases, media alerts, and announcements
• Monitor media outlets and industry trades for relevant coverage, news, and event opportunities
• Assist with recurring updates such as internal newsletters, internal show lists, major events calendars, and travel planning documents
• Operations
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment across communications and music team planning documents
• Update and maintain artist bios, photos, and other assets across Wasserman Music’s intranet and website
• Support new client onboarding and offboarding processes
• Audit and update external directories (e.g., ROSTR, Pollstar) for accuracy
  

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a communications/PR role in the music and/or entertainment industries
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
• Familiarity with platforms such as Canva or Photoshop, Keynote, and basic CMS tools (e.g. WordPress) is a plus
  
  

Base salary: $64,350 plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

• Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
