Job Summary
SAVI PR is seeking a sharp, driven, and deeply plugged-in PR professional with strong relationships across national, regional, and emerging editors in fashion, beauty, hospitality,lifestyle, and wellness. Positioned between PR Assistants and Managers, this role plays a critical support and execution function—ideal for a driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and contributes meaningfully to media relations, influencer strategy, sample operations, and event coordination.
The PR Coordinator is a proactive communicator, skilled executor, and relationship-builder who supports integrated campaigns while overseeing the day-to-day logistics that keep operations running smoothly. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with stylists, editors, influencers, and clients—making it ideal for someone looking to grow into a broader PR leadership role.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedia & Press Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with editors, market assistants, and fashion/lifestyle/hospitality press across short-lead, long-lead, and digital.
- Help build and maintain strong working relationships with celebrity stylists, influencers, and talent reps.
- Manage and respond to daily inbound/outbound press and stylist requests. Email correspondence, shipping logistics, messenger logistics, etc.
- Drafting press releases for approval, media alerts for approval, talent announcements for approval, and product-focused materials.
- Identify and cultivate key creators and tastemakers in each market, leveraging them for launches, seasonal stories, brand gifting and always-on awareness.
- Support award show and VIP engagement by managing outreach lists and all sample coordination.
- Maintain guest lists, develop monthly press and event recaps, and support founder and spokesperson engagement for maximum press impact.
- Conduct weekly targeted pitching and prepare media blasts for trend, campaign, and red carpet coverage. Keeping all master lists constantly updated.
- Creating a master contact document for SAVI and cleaning up GPS for all contact usage.
Samples & Closet Management
- Oversee daily sample trafficking across editorial, VIP, and influencer requests, using Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS) and Google Docs.
- Manage and coordinate seasonal sample orders, international shipments, and inventory reconciliation with production, retail, stylists, media, and influencers.
- Manage all sample closet logistics: intake, inventory, seasonal rotation, dry cleaning, and organization of PR closet.
- Support styling needs for editorials, founder shoots, and media walk-throughs; oversee pulls, returns, and tracking.
- Facilitate product send-outs for wear tests, influencer reviews, and editorial placement.
- Maintain inventory records and oversee ongoing sample tracking, press clippings, database updates, and reporting executed by junior team members.
Influencer & Celebrity Relations
- Identify and maintain influencer/talent target lists, executing personalized seeding initiatives and campaigns from outreach to gifting, including ShopMy, and affiliate platforms.
- Support influencer partnerships end-to-end, monitoring performance, documenting placements, and flagging high-impact opportunities.
- Proactively pitch and track press on all celebrity/VIP dressing, editorial, gifting, and appearances for red carpets, events, and campaigns.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly coverage and campaign performance, including analytics, takeaways, and recap reports.
- Maintain master press tracking documents across all clients.
- Oversee assistants responsible for press clippings, credit confirmations, and post-blast coverage tracking.
Events & Activations
- Contribute to team-wide initiatives, including event prep, mailers, seasonal press previews, and brainstorms.
- Own daily sendouts, seeding plans, and execution of press events, previews, and influencer activations.
- Maintain and manage media contact lists, mailing lists, calendars, and team documents.
- Help build guest lists, liaise with RSVPs, and track press and influencer attendance.
- Oversee front-of-house and check-in operations on-site.
- Prepare, pitch, and track all post-event press coverage and social placements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor interns, apprentices, and assistants, supervising daily logistics and report preparation.
- Comfortable managing up to the senior team.
Administrative & Systems
- Support credit checks, digital pull requests, and media asset sharing across platforms.
- Compile industry trend reports and competitive insights monthly.
- Maintain shared Dropbox, spreadsheets, and asset folders with updated PR plans, sample logs, seeding trackers, imagery, and press materials.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of paid fashion PR experience (agency or in-house required; internships not sufficient).
- Deep understanding of fashion and media landscapes, including editorial calendars and industry cycles.
- At least two years of experience in sample trafficking and logistics.
- Existing relationships with stylists, editors, and influencers are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional email and phone etiquette.
- Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Proficient in PR platforms such as Launchmetrics/Fashion GPS, Muck Rack, Wearisma, Cision, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Social media fluency, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and influencer platforms is a plus.
- Positive, proactive team player with an eye for detail and passion for media and culture.
Work Environment
- This is an in-person role based out of our NYC office, five days a week.
- Occasional late nights, weekends, or event support may be required, depending on client activations.
