Company Description
HY-C has been protecting homes and families since 1947 with a variety of home improvement products including chimney covers, stove boards, firewood storage log racks, wildlife control screens, fireplace accessories, and wood-burning furnaces. Our staff are passionate and committed to high performance. We are dedicated to providing safe and sustainable living products to enhance your life and the life of your home.
Overview
HY-C is looking for a Content Coordinator who is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and performance marketer. In this role, you will take ownership of our content engine—developing educational and SEO-driven content that builds trust, fuels inbound leads, and supports revenue growth. As the primary executor of our They Ask, You Answer business philosophy, you’ll plan and publish blogs, manage our social presence, support sales enablement, and collaborate across teams to ensure every piece of content drives measurable business impact. If you're passionate about writing, know how to generate content that ranks and converts, and thrive in a business-minded, fast-paced environment—we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
oOwn the content calendar and publishing strategy, ensuring a consistent flow of high-impact content that answers buyer questions and supports sales.
oManage the full content lifecycle—from ideation and writing to publishing, optimization, and performance tracking.
oPublish 3+ SEO-driven blog posts per week focused on the "Big 5": cost, problems, comparisons, reviews, and best-of content.
oWrite, edit, and optimize blog posts, landing pages, social captions, and email campaigns with a journalistic, educational tone.
oInterview internal subject matter experts and turn insights into compelling, trustworthy content.
oEdit and improve content written by others to ensure clarity, tone, and SEO alignment.
oLead all on-page SEO efforts including keyword research, content structure, meta descriptions, internal linking, and optimization.
oUse tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Search Console, and HubSpot to monitor traffic, keyword rankings, and engagement.
oTrack content KPIs and refine strategies based on performance data.
oManage organic social media across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to grow brand visibility and promote educational content.
oWrite and schedule Brand/Product automated email workflows that nurture leads and drive conversions.
oWork with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support to identify content needs and create materials that support their conversations with prospects.
oDevelop Assignment Selling resources that shorten sales cycles and improve lead quality.
oCollaborate with the Graphic Designer and Videographer to bring your content to life across channels and formats.
