What You'll Do

As a key player in our sales team, you will:

  • Prospect for new clients and build strong relationships.
  • Understand client goals and develop tailored marketing strategies.
  • Sell a mix of customized solutions and digital advertising services.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
  • Represent Cox Media at local business events and trade shows.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (2 years in broadcast, advertising sales/support or marketing is preferred).
  • Proven ability to develop new business and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong team player with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Understanding of marketing principles and their application in business.
  • Certifications in Interactive Advertising Bureau and/or Google AdWords.

Compensation:

Your compensation includes a competitive base salary, with variations based on location and experience, alongside an eligibility for annual incentive/commission targets.

Benefits:

Cox Media offers eligible employees flexible vacation policies and generous paid time off, including seven paid holidays and up to 160 hours of paid wellness leave. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer activities, military service, and parental leave.
