Your Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their marketing goals and how you can help achieve them.
- Sell customized advertising solutions, including digital options.
- Create and present compelling marketing proposals and presentations.
- Represent Cox Media in the local business community effectively.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Who You Are:
You have a passion for connecting clients with exceptional opportunities and thrive in a motivating environment. You possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience; alternatively, six years of equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proven ability to generate new business and exceed personal sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Motivated team player who excels at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in a related discipline.
- Experience in media, cable, broadcast, or advertising sales/support, and marketing.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and applications.
- Certification from the Interactive Advertising Bureau and/or Google AdWords certification.
Compensation: USD 28,600.00 - 42,800.00 per year, plus an additional annual incentive/commission target of $42,800.00 - $64,400.00.
