We are seeking a highly motivated executive to serve as
Vice President, EAF Sales and Marketing . This leadership role combines direct sales, strategic business development, and account retention. While the initial focus will be individual sales leadership, the role encompasses business development, while expanding a commercial team and assuming additional responsibilities in line with company growth. The VP will play a dual role: protecting and retaining core EAF steel revenue while driving new market opportunities and partnerships. This is a high-visibility position requiring technical credibility in melt shop operations, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to develop long-term strategic relationships. Key Responsibilities
Retain and grow existing EAF steel revenue accounts (a hurdle requirement for incentive eligibility). Develop and execute segment strategy by product line. Identify, pursue, and secure new revenue opportunities across accounts, partnerships, and market entry. Provide technical support and application insight to melt shop operations teams. Build strong customer relationships at all levels of EAF steel organizations. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, supply, logistics) to ensure superior customer service. Track KPIs, quota attainment, and business development progress. Represent Hiller Carbon at industry events and during on-site visits. Participate as a member of the Corporate Management Team and contribute to broader commercial strategy. Qualifications
5+ years of direct experience in EAF steelmaking, foundry operations, or industrial carbon sales (required). Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field (preferred). Strong sales track record and proven ability to close large, complex industrial accounts. Entrepreneurial mindset with capacity to build and lead a team over time. Ability to thrive in industrial environments and travel as needed.
