About The Role Our client is a rapidly scaling early-stage company focused on redefining access over ownership in the lifestyle and fashion space. By activating peer-to-peer sharing models, they’re unlocking value from items sitting unused in homes and boutiques — making quality goods more accessible, sustainable, and community-driven. They’re seeking a Community & Events Coordinator to take the lead on local growth in Los Angeles. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll grow and energize a passionate user base, onboard creators and collaborators, and bring the brand to life through in-person activations, social storytelling, and grassroots partnerships. Key Responsibilities Build and grow an engaged local user community of sharers and renters Plan and host multiple in-person activations and events each month Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with creators, stylists, and local influencers Collaborate on locally sourced social content and community campaigns Coordinate with internal teams on city-specific messaging and growth strategy Manage LA-based email and SMS campaigns to drive participation and retention Develop partnerships with relevant local brands, communities, or pop-ups Represent the brand locally — from last-minute requests to big-picture partnerships You’ll Thrive In This Role If You… Already have strong ties in the LA creative, fashion, or influencer community Love talking to people and naturally build trust Are resourceful and proactive — you act without waiting for permission Have a “get-it-done” mindset and thrive in early-stage ambiguity Are comfortable balancing strategy with scrappiness — both planning and executing Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Hold yourself accountable and follow through on what you say you’ll do Bonus Experience Prior startup or marketplace experience Background in influencer/creator engagement or brand activations Familiarity with peer-to-peer or sharing economy models Some design/content creation chops (e.g., Canva or Reels/TikTok) Comfortable being on camera or helping shoot quick-turn social content Perks & Benefits Equity and career growth in a high-impact, early-stage environment Monthly credits to use the platform Direct collaboration with founders and exec team Professional coaching and mentorship #J-18808-Ljbffr
