We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Community Manager to join our team in Elizabeth City, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven individual who excels in leasing, customer service, and property maintenance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy, supporting day-to-day property operations, and fostering a welcoming environment for both current and prospective residents.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leasing: Showcase apartment homes, follow up on leads, and close leases with confidence and professionalism. Guide new residents through a smooth and welcoming move-in process.
  • Resident Experience & Relations: Foster a friendly, inclusive community. Be the primary point of contact for residents and prospects—building trust, addressing concerns promptly, and enhancing satisfaction to drive renewals.
  • Rent Collection & Financial Health: Manage rent collection, send notices as needed, and work to keep delinquencies low, supporting the overall financial success of the property.
  • Operations & Administration: Support daily operations including resident communications, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Keep all paperwork, records, and resident files organized and accurate.
  • Maintenance Partnership: Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to ensure the community is well-maintained, visually appealing, and fully operational.
  • Vendor & Service Oversight: Source and manage service providers to ensure quality work, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.


What You’ll Bring

We welcome experienced property professionals and strong managers from retail or hospitality backgrounds ready to transition fields.

  • 3–5 years of management experience
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service mindset
  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and positive
