The SEO and Digital Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing the SEO strategy for our senior living clients. This position is actively involved with ensuring website health and implementing ongoing strategy to build our clients’ online presence through search. The SEO and Digital Coordinator works alongside the digital team, client service, development and design, and other digital vendors to provide our clients with the maximum value and return on investment from their SEO budgets.
This is an on-site role in our Phoenix, AZ office.
This position reports to the SEO and Web Performance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Execute SEO strategies for clients, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, link building, and content strategies.
- Perform regular SEO audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Present results or recommendations internally.
- Continuously identify areas of opportunity and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Work with internal and external resources to implement and QA backlinking strategies for citation building and organic link building.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research using industry-standard tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) to optimize content for search engines.
- Analyze and monitor organic search performance and adjust as needed.
- Work with the content team to optimize website copy, blog posts, landing pages, and other digital content.
- Ensure content adheres to SEO best practices for on-page optimization and search rankings.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as site speed, crawlability, and mobile optimization.
- Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement technical SEO fixes and improvements.
- Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports on organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, and overall SEO performance, along with actionable insights for optimization.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (PPC, email, paid tactics, etc.).
- Continuously monitor SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging digital marketing technologies to ensure strategies are aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital audiences, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proficient in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, XML sitemaps, schema markup, redirects, and mobile optimization.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to create reports and provide actionable insights to clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with other digital marketing areas such as PPC, and email marketing.
- Must be available to work on-site at our Phoenix, AZ office.
