Overview
GPJ is hiring an Associate Producer of Live Production to join our growing team. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site reporting to one of the following office locations a minimum of 2 days/week: Austin, Boston, or New York City.
Your Role
As an Associate Producer, you are a crucial part of the Live Production team. Our team handles various aspects of show production including general sessions, product launches, dealer meetings, press events, special occasions, and consumer events. You will collaborate with GPJ's leadership team, partners, and suppliers and drive the process for operations management related to the show. Responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day support to the executive producer, producer, and technical team
- Point of contact for GPJ/client operations lead
- Lead all logistical and operational aspects of the show: crew housing, crew meals, badges, parking passes, daily sheets, office supply orders, etc.
- Process contractor and vendor purchase orders, invoices, payments, and final budget reconciliation
- Assist in scheduling meetings both internal and external
- Generate Meeting Notes documenting key items discussed and agreed-upon action items
- Oversee show book production for client and key show positions
- Manage the onsite needs of executives, guest speakers, and talent
- Set up onsite production office and provide ongoing support
- Supervise Production Assistants and Runners on-site
Your Skills
- Experience in theatrical management and technical staging (lighting, audio, video, scenic) a plus
- Knowledge of video production, presentation graphics, broadcast media, digital media, and printed graphics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote) and web research
- Expert knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors, and staff
- Positive attitude and readiness to jump in as needed
Your Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in live production
- College degree preferred in theater, film/video, business, project management, or related field
- Relevant production experience with a successful track record
Travel & Mobility
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary
Salary Range: $60k+
Salary is dependent on experience, skills, and location.
