Zoe and Claire is a contemporary women’s wholesale brand based in Los Angeles, specializing in timeless, wearable dresses that blend modern femininity with clean, thoughtful design. Our collections focus on dresses that transition effortlessly from day to night, balancing comfort, elegance, and subtle detailing. We serve boutiques and retailers nationwide with a curated range of styles with refined silhouettes at affordable prices.

We're seeking a Fashion Design Assistant who is passionate about dresses and excited to be hands-on in every stage of the design process—from concept to production, all the way through seasonal lookbook photoshoots. This is a great opportunity to grow within a design-centric, fast-paced wholesale apparel environment.

What You’ll Do

• Trend & Concept Research: Support the team in identifying dress trends, seasonal moods, and fabric inspiration that align with Zoe and Claire’s brand DNA—effortless, feminine, and elevated.
• CAD & Technical Support: Create and revise flats, colorways, and CADs; assist with building clear, organized tech packs.
• Sample Development: Help track and manage dress samples, prep for fittings, line reviews, and showroom meetings.
• Fittings: Assist during fittings by taking notes and documenting changes; help communicate adjustments to factories and production.
• Lookbook & Photoshoot Support: Help prep styles for seasonal lookbook shoots—including steaming, organizing shot lists, and on-set assistance during styling and model changes.
• ERP/Admin: Enter product information into NetSuite and support organization of digital design files and internal style sheets.

Who You Are

• Passionate about dresses and women’s fashion with a sharp eye for silhouette, proportion, and detail
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate
• Organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator and collaborative team player
• Bonus: Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite and wholesale companies
