Overview
Waunakee Public Library is hiring a Library Assistant. This entry‑level position will be scheduled 15-20 hours a week. We are looking for candidates who can work Sundays, weekday evenings, and Fridays during the day.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist library visitors
- Check out and check in materials using a computer network
- Shelving library materials
- Answer customers’ questions
- Open and close the library
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Library or related customer service experience is desired but not required
- A working knowledge of computers is essential
Compensation and How to Apply
Starting hourly wage is $19.71 per hour.
