Overview
Waunakee Public Library is hiring a Library Assistant. This entry-level position will be scheduled 15-20 hours a week. We are looking for candidates who can work Sundays, weekday evenings, and Fridays during the day.
Responsibilities
- Greet and help library visitors
- Check out and check in materials using a computer network
- Shelving library materials
- Answer customers’ questions
- Open and close the library
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Library or related customer service experience is desired but not required
- A working knowledge of computers is essential
Compensation and Schedule
Starting hourly wage is $19.71 per hour. This position is scheduled for 15-20 hours per week.
