Hourly Pooled-UW Football Video Student Assistant

Overview

UW Football Video Student Assistant. This position begins March 20 and may include brief training sessions prior to that date. Availability is required during spring football (March 25 – April 30): Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings. During the fall semester, availability is 3:30–7:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Applicants should be available to work 25–30 hours per week in August and 10–15 hours per week during the school year. The role may include travel with the team for away games and opportunities to participate in NFL pro day in March and summer football camps in June.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the football staff in preparing video and other materials to evaluate player performance, and perform other duties as assigned by the video coordinator or recruiting coordinator.
  • Film UW football practices and games, and help prepare recruiting materials for prospective student-athletes in collaboration with the recruiting coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: GED or High School Diploma
  • Currently a University of Wyoming student
  • Valid driver\'s license with a motor vehicle record compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult or stressful situations
  • Previous experience with video cameras and/or Photoshop is preferred but not required
