Overview
The Lede Company is looking for a corporate communications assistant to join our Strategic Communications team in Los Angeles. We are seeking ambitious candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment, are driven, and have strong communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in business, corporate communications, media, and entertainment. Responsibilities
Administrative duties (scheduling, expenses, booking travel, managing a high volume of in-bound and out-bound emails, etc.) for two publicists Manage responsibilities on 4 - 6 client accounts Field informational calls and take detailed notes during regularly scheduled client calls and new business calls Track media coverage for several clients and service digital breaks daily Assist with writing and editing internal and external materials including pitches, press releases and proposals Conduct research to support client planning and strategy Process client requests in a timely manner Attend events, as needed Update and maintain department media lists on an ongoing basis Be available to support incoming requests from the NYC office, as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in public relations or communications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Highly organized and responsive Exceptional interpersonal, networking, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills Proactive and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Meticulous attention to detail Self-starter with the ability to multi-task Reliable: meets deadlines, prioritizes well, and has a high sense of urgency Strong writing and proofreading skills Professional, confident and mature demeanor Able to anticipate needs Strong interest in the entertainment industry and corporate communications is preferred Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Ability to work in-office a minimum of 3 days a week is required EEO and Employment Details
