Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Content Marketing Officer to join our Marketing team. The purpose of this role is to support the focus on increasing Orbital South Colleges’ brand presence with the use of East Surrey College and John Ruskin College websites, social media platforms and event activity; measuring and reporting on campaign outcomes. You will support the creation and delivery of Orbital South Colleges’ social media and content strategy within the overarching Marketing Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and delivery of Orbital South Colleges’ social media and content strategy within the overarching Marketing Strategy.
- Help manage content across websites, social media platforms and events to increase brand presence.
- Measure and report on campaign outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a communications role, creating content and social media campaigns
- Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Design and Marketing) or relevant professional experience
- Experience of using photography to promote corporate identity
- Microsoft Office – advanced level – experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of website content management systems
- Excellent communication skills to liaise professionally with internal and external organisations
- Understanding of person-centred practice and the engagement of learners in their own journey
- Other skills which would be an advantage include photography, video editing and email marketing but training will be provided as necessary.
