Media/Influencer Relations Build and maintain relationships with business, broadcast, and influencer media; mentor staff to develop the same Creative use of social media channels to engage and support efforts Ongoing engagement of media for the agency (e.g., blog Q&A, lunch talks, etc.) Measure the ROI of communications activities Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Client Service/Management: deliver exemplary service for specified clients Develop strong working relationships with clients and understand their business, competitors, and industry bodies Identify key messages and audiences; develop strategic communications plans Deliver projects on time and on budget; understand account financials and manage hours vs. fees Proactively communicate with clients on deliverables and budget; identify opportunities for organic growth and meet revenue targets Develop and maintain strong media relationships; stay informed on market trends and client needs Own account management to ensure accurate monthly billing, client expenses recoupment, and current accounts Lead execution of programs (writing/editing, media relations, social, digital, crisis work) as appropriate; be an ambassador for the agency Writing Proficiencies: plan campaigns, generate/edit award submissions, press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, briefing books, pitches, Q&As, and related materials Maintain professional, articulate client communication; develop consistent, creative pitches Agency Operations: manage 2 direct reports; support development goals and performance reviews; participate in new business; attend networking events; promote a respectful, enthusiastic, and professional work environment Self Development: set quarterly goals with leadership; prioritize based on impact and timelines; drive projects independently and meet deadlines Requirements

At least 7 years PR agency experience Strong academic record with emphasis on English and/or Business Core consumer brand PR background with knowledge of corporate PR and crisis management Experience managing reactive and proactive press office; handling press inquiries Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities Experience with influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Excellent publicity skills and deep understanding of media/editorial requirements Creative thinker with a wide network of national, regional, and business media contacts Proven ability to deliver impactful PR campaigns from inception to delivery Strong relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders Superior written and verbal communication; strong organizational and time management abilities Team player who performs well under pressure and adapts to change Benefits
