Overview

National Advertising Campaign Specialist — Lamar Advertising Company is hiring to oversee all post-buy aspects of a National Campaign and manage the execution of dynamic digital campaigns. This role also acts as a liaison between the National Sales team, national customers, IT, and local Lamar offices to troubleshoot and drive resolutions during the life cycle of the campaign.

The National Campaign Specialist is responsible for overseeing all post-buy aspects of a National Campaign including day-to-day communication of material delivery, installation updates, digital scheduling, and proof of performance delivery. The role also manages the execution of dynamic digital campaigns, ensures scheduling and campaign compliance, and upholds digital scheduling best practices.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • BA/BS in related field such as Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Previous work experience in media preferred
  • 3-5 years of related work experience required
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience

A day in the life

  • Provide accurate spec sheets for contracted locations and shipping address information to customers supplying their own production materials
  • Ensure posting instructions for national campaigns are provided in a timely manner by customers and are ready for distribution
  • Audit posting instructions and creative file images from the customer for accuracy; resolve issues with the customer or their design agency
  • Distribute posting instructions and creative images to local sales offices for national campaigns
  • Track production materials, maintain tracking logs, and organize digital schedules for each campaign
  • Execute a high volume of digital scheduling daily
  • Compile and distribute status update reports for customers daily
  • Troubleshoot production-related issues with external and internal customers and partners to ensure on-time posting
  • Identify digital technical issues and determine implications; take action accordingly
  • Anticipate problems and communicate with customers, National Account Executives, Account Managers, and local offices
  • Manage digital goods or service solutions for Lamar\'s technical failures and assist Sellers and customers as needed
  • Manage iSpot order from start to finish: obtain assets, mediate issues, manage scheduling and QA, and deliver proof of execution
  • Know and audit proof of performance requirements for national accounts
  • Attend weekly team meetings to provide campaign updates
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

  • Office environment
  • Physical demands include infrequent lifting, reading, color distinction, sitting, and talking
  • Travel and overnight stays less than 10% of the time
  • On-call shifts may be required
