Position Summary

Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity of the area by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards and procedures; monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others when needed to determine corrective action or recommendations. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and providing feedback; teach, support, and model logistics and company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of associates and leaders. What you’ll do

Provide leadership and communication to individuals or groups to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, and safety. Manage productivity by analyzing business reports and adjusting plans accordingly. Ensure associates are trained on policies, procedures, and safety standards; monitor compliance and maintain documentation. Address associate, customer, and supplier concerns and determine corrective actions. Develop associates and leaders by coaching, evaluating performance, and facilitating training and development. Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture, build strong relationships, and motivate teams to perform at a high level. Uphold Walmart values and integrity in all actions, and support the organization’s goals of responsible stewardship and positive impact for associates, customers, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field with 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience. Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
