Overview

Position Summary... What you'll do... Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing e.g., customers, suppliers, associates. Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards and procedures; monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Identify associate, customer and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective actions or make recommendations to resolve.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting and modeling company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of associates and leaders.
  • Demonstrate respect for the individual and build high-performing teams; embrace differences and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported and connected through a culture of belonging; create opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.
  • Attract and retain the best talent, empower and develop talent, and recognize others' contributions and accomplishments.

Compensation and Benefits

Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books and fees are paid by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and plan terms.

Note: The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00–$98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), stock, and other incentives as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field with 1 year supervisory experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or
  • 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience, or
  • 2 years Walmart Logistics experience, or
  • 2 years supervisory experience.

Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience supervising associates
  • Walmart Logistics Manager
  • Bachelor’s degrees in Business or Logistics
