Overview:

We are seeking an Event Planner/Coordinator to design, organize, and manage impactful events, including our flagship initiative, Build, Innovate, Elevate: Level Up with AI Skills. This role will ensure seamless event planning, execution, and follow-up, both in-person and online, while aligning with the organization’s mission and goals.

• Proven expertise in event planning and coordination.

• Budget-conscious with a knack for being resourceful and creative.
• Comfortable with virtual collaboration tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Event Design: Plan and design engaging in-person and virtual events, conferences, and workshops that align with organizational goals.
• Coordination: Manage event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, volunteer management, and on-site execution.
• Promotion: Support online event promotions, including social media campaigns and email marketing efforts.
• Checkpoint Meetings: Attend regular virtual planning meetings to ensure alignment on event goals and updates.
• Fundraising Support: Actively participate in the planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Budget Management: Submit timely expenditure requests, track reimbursements, and ensure proper budget documentation.
• Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors, partners, and suppliers to secure the best services within budget constraints.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Collect feedback, document outcomes, and suggest improvements for future events.

Requirements:

• Availability for checkpoint virtual meetings.
• Ability to attend and assist with fundraising events.
• Commitment to timely record-keeping and expense reporting.
