What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
• Develop and execute coherent strategies for clients and projects
• Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding the scope of work
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance
• Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and seminars

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
• Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online media
• Proven experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications program
