Responsibilities
- Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel
- Drive new business development and generate revenue within existing clients
- Work with top executives at leading technology companies as a trusted advisor
- Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance
- Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking and new business contacts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
- Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements
- Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media
- Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
- Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
- Experience in setting up measurement programs to assess the ROI of communications activities
- Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience in mentoring and coaching a team of communications specialists
