The Role
As our Founding Designer, you'll shape the visual identity and user experience of our enterprise AI platform. You'll work directly with our product and engineering teams to create intuitive interfaces that help financial institutions combat fraud and financial crime more effectively.
This is a unique opportunity to define our design system from the ground up and create experiences that make complex AI interactions feel simple and natural for enterprise users.
Ideal Candidate Credentials
5+ years of experience designing enterprise software products
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex technical products
Experience building and implementing design systems from scratch
Track record of leading design initiatives and collaborating with engineering teams
Previous experience at high-growth B2B startups is a plus
Background in designing data-heavy interfaces and visualization systems
Experience conducting user research with enterprise customers
Skills
You're scrappy and aren't afraid of making mistakes. You can iterate quickly on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints.
You're a problem solver who can take complex workflows and transform them into intuitive user experiences.
You're a first-principles thinker who can break down complex design challenges into their fundamental elements. You're capable of quickly tackling design problems you've never seen before.
You have extraordinary user empathy and can craft interfaces that resonate with technical users (e.g. compliance officers and fraud investigators)
You're an exceptional communicator who can articulate design decisions to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
You have strong skills in modern design tools (Figma, etc.) and experience with design systems
You understand the balance between pixel-perfect design and the need to move quickly in a startup environment
About You
Customer curious You are interested in deeply understanding customer pain points and are motivated to engage with and solve customer problems.
Experience building, and being part of, fast-growing B2B software products You've worked on some of the world's best teams where you needed to ship fast and often. Bonus if you've built fintech or enterprise software products for large customers.
Entrepreneurial drive You're able to work without explicit direction and feel intense ownership over the products you create. As a founding member, you'll be expected to thrive in the ambiguity that comes with an early-stage startup and can get things done without overcomplicating the solution.
Strong communicator As an early-stage startup, there will be lots of changes and ambiguity in the beginning. You should be comfortable sharing your feedback early and often, and you should be comfortable bringing up product ideas frequently.
