Overview

Multimedia Specialist I – University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS). This full-time TEAMS position supports CLAS communications by creating engaging multimedia content, managing social media channels, and analyzing digital engagement to expand the college's reach and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Lead photo and video assignment planning.
• Produce and edit photography and video, coordinating with CLAS Communications and Media Services team members, CLAS faculty and staff, freelancers and student staff.
• Support special communications projects that showcase CLAS programs, research, and people.
• Contribute to branding and reputation-building efforts for the college.
• Manage and maintain equipment related to photo and video production.

Qualifications

Required: A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience.
• Skills in photography, videography, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr. This is a TEAMS position eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid leave, retirement plans, and health insurance.
