Base pay range

$105,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Eyeline Studios – At Eyeline, Scanline VFX's virtual production division, we aim to provide a solid foundation where you can be part of an innovative team of researchers, developers and virtual storytellers. You will be responsible for managing the project’s budget and schedule, overseeing day-to-day production operations within the facility, and ensuring timely delivery of the project at high quality standards. You will maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, stakeholders, and industry partners. This role reports to the Director, Content Production at Eyeline Studios.

Primary Focus: Short Form Engagements

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of Virtual Production projects including content creation, shoots, tests, and data acquisition; oversee budgeting and scheduling.
• Attend creative briefings and assess work requests with stakeholders; provide quick ballpark bids when appropriate.
• Create and maintain the production schedule based on approved bids.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Leads, Artists, and other stakeholders to develop solutions and ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and of high quality.
• Procure artists and resources; build relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to meet project expectations.
• Maintain clear, regular communication with clients about project status, milestones, deliverables, and scope or schedule changes.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or roadblocks; communicate issues to stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with On-Set, Virtual Art Dept, Volumetric Capture, Digital Humans, and VFX teams for final deliveries.
• Allocate resources across projects, including liaising with global VFX studios as required.
• Support progressive partnerships between Labs, Creative, Technology, and Production arms of Eyeline Studios; promote new practices and technology in Virtual Production.
• Provide administrative tasks such as timecard reviews, resource projections, and general team management support.
• Supervise and mentor production staff; foster a positive, collaborative, inclusive and respectful work environment.
• Participate in and oversee work on virtual production and capture stages and on set as required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Producer in Virtual Production or VFX with post-production leadership of complex CG or VFX shows; proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
• Practical live-action experience is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of live-action and CG-based VFX methodologies, pipelines, and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with clients, artists, stakeholders, and technology teams.
• Strong project management skills (budgeting, scheduling), resource allocation, organization and strategic planning.
• Experience with bidding, estimating, and proposal creation for new projects.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; able to handle fast-paced on-set environments.
• Experience leading production teams; knowledge of production management tools (ShotGrid, Google Suite, MS Office, JIRA).
• Advanced MS Word and Excel skills.
