What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage media and influencer relations, building strong relationships with key media across the business and tech industries

Oversee client service and management, directing PR calls and developing PR plans and campaigns

Generate and edit various written materials, including press releases, pitches, and award submissions

Participate in agency operations, including new business processes and networking events

Set up and track quarterly goals with management, demonstrating growth and self-improvement

What is Required (Qualifications)

3-5 years of experience in an agency or start-up environment, specifically in cybersecurity or tech PR

Proven ability to manage projects from concept through execution

Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create compelling pitches and client communications

Strong understanding of social media channels and their strategic use in PR efforts

Ability to mentor junior staff and lead by example in a collaborative environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Established relationships with key media in the tech industry

Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities

Familiarity with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns

Participation in media training sessions and development of key messages

Track record of attending and encouraging participation in networking events
