What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
Generate business revenue within existing clients by offering strategic recommendations
Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance
Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and conferences
Monitor staff performance and development goals, set objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact placements
Extensive writing and editing experience with print and online communications media
Demonstrated leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and media relations program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into action plans
Experience setting up measurement programs and measuring the ROI of communications activities
