Responsibilities
- Design UX ecommerce platforms, with a focus on optimizing user journeys for conversion.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using Figma and Axure, including component libraries, complex interactions, and design systems to enhance quality and functionality.
- Build, manage, and scale comprehensive design systems in Figma and Axure, ensuring high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
- Create detailed, annotated wireframes and develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate complex workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to gather requirements and feedback and execute rapid design iterations.
- Conduct research using quantitative and qualitative methods, including A/B testing, web analytics, user interviews, surveys, and observation.
- Identify opportunities to adapt design approaches for diverse cultural perspectives and varying user behaviors in a multinational environment.
- Position is based in Chandler, AZ HQ with telecommuting and remote work options considered on a case-by-case basis.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Industrial Design and Design Management, Computer Science, or closely related field. Employer will accept advanced degree if in the same field.
Experience
24 months of experience in the job offered or closely related.
Special skills
- Design low fidelity to high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, integrating the client’s design system to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Develop detailed user journey maps and user flows to visualize interactions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform secondary and primary research (competitive mapping, benchmarking, observation mapping, interviews, surveys, user journey mapping, persona development, and user flow creation).
- Design User Journey Maps, Competitive Analysis, Sitemaps, and Personas to guide user-centered decisions.
- Familiar with HTML & CSS to facilitate communication with development during implementation.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage project timelines in an agile environment.
- Use Axure for wireframing and prototyping and Adobe Creative Suite for visual design tasks.
- Ecommerce work experience as a UI/UX Designer.
Compensation and Schedule
Salary: Available upon request
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
