Job Title: Social Media Community Manager (Temporary)
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid, 2-3 days/week in office)
Duration: 4-5 Months

Description:
This four- to five-month temporary position will support community management and community engagement strategy for the client's flagship social media accounts, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Social Media and Content Integration, this contractor will assist with the development of social content, manage the editorial calendar, and collaborate enterprise-wide to ensure growth in key social media metrics in line with overall goals.
You will be responsible for driving brand equity and supporting the client's mission on social media channels by engaging prospects, members, and influencers. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for quality social content and a proven ability to grow and engage online communities.

- Cross-functional collaboration and client/account management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and industry trends.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with internal business units (Editorial, Studios, Communications).
- Draft, review, and publish engaging social copy that maintains the client's brand voice.
- Coordinate with creative teams on the development of engaging social media content.
- nalyze content performance and provide constructive guidance to improve engagement.
- Collaborate with the social response team on community management efforts.
- Provide regular reporting on progress and growth of key social media metrics.
- Stay current on industry trends and technological developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience managing social media platforms and community engagement for a large, complex organization or agency.
