Overview

Atlas First Access is hiring a full-time Service Writer to join our Service Team. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated person to support the team by providing timely and accurate estimates for field and shop service repairs. Atlas First Access, part of the Atlas Companies, is an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer committed to providing quality service, premium equipment, and innovative solutions for companies of all sizes.

Your New Role

• Provide estimates to the Service team and enter and maintain them in the quotes system.
• Prepare formal estimates in writing.
• Provide sales staff, service departments, and customers with accurate quotes within 3 days of receiving a request. Maintain close communication with the shop, service managers, and sales team on all estimates.
• Review all preventive maintenance work orders submitted for billing and provide estimates for items that require attention.
• Verify information with technicians on repairs to minimize uncertainty and error in the quote process.
• Maintain communication with customers on estimates and orders.
• Responsible for monthly reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Company Portal.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
• Automotive parts or repair knowledge preferred.
