Marketing Associate We are looking for a candidate with marketing experience, experience with Microsoft Suite and some IT experience. Also experience with Adobe, Lightroom, Photoshop and Wix. About the Position The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and creating the overall design, brand, and execution of highly visible and strategic communications and marketing initiatives. This role is crucial in driving the marketing efforts of our warehouse businesses, which deals in a diverse range of goods. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract new customers, and retain existing ones. Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis Conduct thorough research to understand the competitive landscape, identifying key competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats, ensuring the company stays ahead of market changes. Collect, summarize, and analyze data to prepare comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights, guiding strategic decision-making and marketing efforts. Marketing Strategy and Planning Establish and evaluate comprehensive marketing strategies and plans by analyzing sales forecasts and market data to ensure alignment with business goals. Update and maintain marketing calendars, coordinating timelines for campaigns, promotions, and events to ensure timely execution. Organize and plan promotional presentations and activities, ensuring they effectively reach target audiences and drive engagement and sales. Campaign Communication and Coordination Clearly communicate campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to the Sales team to ensure alignment and cohesive execution. Provide detailed instructions and guidelines for the promotion or use of marketing materials, ensuring the Sales team understands and effectively utilizes them. Foster a collaborative environment by offering support and addressing any questions or concerns from the Sales team regarding campaign activities. Sales Support Materials Management Maintain an accurate and current inventory and directory of all sales support materials to ensure availability and accessibility for the Sales team. Regularly review and update sales materials to ensure they reflect the latest product information, branding, and marketing messages. Coordinate the creation of new sales support materials as needed, working with relevant departments to produce high-quality resources that meet the company’s standards and objectives. Prospect Research and Development Continuously seek and research new sources of prospective customers to expand the company\'s client base. Gather and analyze data on potential customers, market trends, and industry developments to identify new opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations for marketing and sales leadership based on research findings, aiding in strategic planning and decision-making. Sales & Customer Marketing Materials Create visually compelling merchandising labels for customer-facing store shelves. Design product flyers, promotions, and launch announcements for sales reps as new items arrive. Develop monthly promotional campaigns and “power push” marketing materials to help drive priority SKUs. Build and update product catalogs for customers, showing current inventory, pricing, and images. Maintain an organized digital library of marketing collateral accessible to the sales team. Website & ERP Content Management Edit and update the company website regularly to reflect current products, categories, pricing, and visuals. Upload product photos and descriptions into ERP software to ensure sales reps and customers with tablets can see accurate, real-time information. Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align on new product updates and photo needs. Brand & Communication Ensure all visual communications align with our brand identity. Work with leadership to maintain a consistent tone across marketing channels and platforms. Coordinate email campaigns, product spotlights, and other outreach tools to keep customers informed. Event Coordination & Support Assist in planning trade show setups, vendor showcases, and other sales-driven events. Develop printed and digital materials to support event marketing and product promotion. Plan and manage trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying and coordinating all necessary requirements to ensure successful execution. Develop detailed assignments and schedules, coordinating with team members and vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are covered. Coordinate mailing lists, establish contacts, and manage communication to ensure all team members and contacts are informed and engaged throughout the event process. Tech & Marketing Ops Support Act as a light tech-support resource to troubleshoot issues related to marketing software, website CMS, or ERP integrations. Assist with building efficient systems to automate product uploads, digital catalogs, or customer outreach when possible. Company Description S&O Wholesale Co.
