The Senior Publisher Success Manager is the primary point of contact for a subset of premium publisher partners. Reporting to the Head of Publisher Strategy in our North America region, this role is essential to retaining Publisher accounts while unlocking their maximum revenue potential across multiple products. This individual will independently own relationships with publisher partners and build meaningful relationships through in-person and virtual meetings, helping develop GumGum’s overall publisher development strategy, especially within the CTV space.
The Senior Publisher Success Manager is a customer-success-focused expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms, and will be present in the New York office once or twice a month.
What You'll Achieve
- Independently own publisher partnerships, including some of the world’s biggest CTV/streaming, online video and display partners.
- Conduct QBRs, providing insights into the partnership and performance tips to strengthen Publisher relationships.
- Discuss and analyze industry trends with publisher partners to help develop the overall publisher strategy and educate teams on best practices or future products.
- Serve as an expert on GumGum’s CTV products, publisher integrations, tools and platforms.
- Identify and provide solutions in account management duties and processes.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising, especially premium video and CTV, to shape and drive strategy.
- Escalate inbound technical issues to Solutions Engineers while managing external partner communications and expectations.
- Monitor daily reporting to proactively identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities, and present them externally to drive new revenue via upsells.
- Fully support publisher onboarding implementations, working closely with Solutions Engineering and Partner Management teams.
- Manage additional projects aimed at building first-class processes and systems, including automation and AI enhancements to improve day-to-day responsibilities.
Skills You'll Bring
- BA/BS degree in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience
- 4+ years of experience in digital media/ad tech, with exposure to a network, exchange, or SSP environment
- Experience with CTV/streaming partners
- Experience in an account management role within ad tech, creating solutions for clients
- Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and ticketing systems
- Ability to analyze data to spot trends
- Familiarity with the media industry, digital advertising, the lumascape and ad tech

At GumGum, competitive base pay is part of a total rewards package including benefits, recognition, development, and wellness. The estimated pay range for this role is $93,000 – $111,500 annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on qualifications, location, and market conditions. We also offer an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan.
