Responsibilities Oversee $1.5-2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel Consistently develop and articulate coherent strategies for clients and projects Act as a trusted counselor and advisor to top executives at leading technology companies Own and drive a cornerstone in the agency focused on excellent careers, superb client service, strong financials, and improved operations and tools Generate business revenue within existing clients by offering strategic recommendations to expand scope of work or introduce new services Identify and lead pitches to bring in new clients with growth goals Collaborate with integrated teams to deliver seamless multi-channel solutions across traditional PR, digital, and social media Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with a commitment to quality Manage, mentor, and develop staff, monitor performance, set objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews Represent Highwire and key clients at industry events to maintain professional development and build networking opportunities Service clients profitably while monitoring staff billability, client needs, resource load, and staff performance Maintain account group revenue by managing account and budget dynamics Requirements Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in communications (in-house or agency) with at least 5 years in senior leadership Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors and secure high-impact placements Extensive external writing and editing experience across print and online media Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Demonstrated leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing program Innovative thinker with a track record of turning strategy into action plans and outputs Experience in building, managing, mentoring, coaching a team of communications professionals Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions in a changing environment Experience setting up measurement programs and tracking ongoing ROI of communications activities Benefits & Perks Competitive salary; merit-based bonuses and promotions Hybrid work model Excellent vacation policy including extended breaks for summer and winter holidays Empower Hours on Fridays; team may log off by 3pm 401K match; medical and dental benefits / FSA Paid parental leave; commuter benefit; home office equipment stipend Growth Mindset stipend; technology reimbursement Wellness benefit; donation match; mentorship Monthly recognition programs; employee referral bonuses; new business referral bonuses Quarterly team events; dog-friendly work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
