Cloud service design for availability, scalability, observability and testability. Implementation, validation and documentation of services and their component microservices. Collaborate within the engineering team to deliver and operate cloud services that enable animation, film and game development studios to run their production workflows in the cloud. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization. Launch new cloud services and establish operational excellence. Work collaboratively to realize and achieve the technical vision of the team. Engage with geographically distributed engineering teams. Ensure compliance with software development standards, processes and best practices. Qualifications
BS/CS Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of software development experience with modern programming languages. Experience in large/enterprise scale software development and engineering, especially with cloud services and distributed systems. Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production (digital asset management, namespaces, 3D frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers and models, 3D data packaging, rendering workflows, image composition, tools used by artists, engineers, editors and content creators) is a plus. Experience collaborating with geo-distributed teams. Training and experience in software implementation, code and design review, and root cause analysis for failures. US: Hiring Range in USD from $79,800 to $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
