Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US)

Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. We help clients leverage LinkedIn, Meta, and more to reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This is a ground-floor opportunity in a fast-growing specialty agency.

This role is listed internally as Senior Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional support for internal marketing in support of a boutique agency within Directive
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Manage personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency with hands-on support of B2B clients
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as Conversation Ads, Document Ads, CTV, and more
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and more)
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
  • Strong understanding of paid principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization)
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics tools to drive decisions
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate strategy into data-driven storytelling
  • Problem solver with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset
  • Curious about industry trends and opportunities to grow and share
  • Strong organizational and multi-project management skills
  • Quality-focused and maintains integrity in advertising work
  • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as needed

  • Demonstrate core values in every interaction
  • Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
  • Meet/exceed department KPIs (client growth and goal attainment; core KPIs include client NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores)
  • Build client trust and relationships that lead to renewals
  • Cross-sell services aligned with client goals
  • Clearly communicate results with client contacts and executives
  • Make exceptional strategic decisions for account direction

Benefits

  • Base salary range for this position in the United States: $85,000 - $95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility. Salary may vary based on compensation practices and depth of experience.
