Abe is a specialized consultancy focused exclusively on social media advertising. We are a hub for innovative strategies, helping clients leverage the full power of LinkedIn, Meta and more to reach, engage, and convert their target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency.

We’re future-focused and are looking for the right Senior Strategist with a growth mindset to join our evolving team. We use a methodology called Customer Generation, focusing on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional support for internal marketing in support of a boutique agency within Directive
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Responsible for personal productivity and utilization
  • Work with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 4+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
  • Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units (e.g., conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more)
  • Proficiency in platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and others
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
  • Strong understanding of Paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign data using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, and similar
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Problem solver mindset; competitive and curious
  • Willingness to stay on the cutting edge of the industry and seek growth opportunities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quality-focused with strong ethical standards for advertising
  • Travel to visit clients approximately once per year or as needed

What Success Looks Like

  • Demonstrate core values in every interaction
  • Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
  • Meet and exceed department KPIs, including client growth and goal attainment; core KPIs include NSMs and Client Satisfaction scores
  • Build client trust and relationships that drive renewals
  • Cross-sell services aligned with client goals
  • Clearly communicate results with client contacts and executives
  • Make exceptional strategic decisions for accounts

Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000–$95,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and experience

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA. For global locations, you must have work authorization and reside in that country. This role is remote-first and uses Zoom and Slack for collaboration. You will need a laptop (PC or Mac), reliable internet, and a professional background.
