Operations & Visual Manager - Los Angeles

The Operations & Visual Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team accountable for bringing Alo’s operational and visual strategy to life in the store. This role focuses on inventory management, labor planning and scheduling, and visual execution to ensure the store is customer-ready at all times. Duties require movement throughout the store, including sales floor and back of house; when not assisting guests, the role includes other tasks to keep the store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes
  • Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps
  • Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor using business performance data
  • Support sell-through management by ensuring inventory count accuracy and coordinating labor hours for efficient product deliveries
  • Maintain a safe work environment and efficient operation
  • Represent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with General Manager
  • Review and monitor budget, reporting and other business data; track metrics (e.g., Expenses, Sell-Through) and inform planning processes (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning)
  • Plan workflow to protect optimal performance
  • Lead the Operations and Visual team with accountability, coaching, talent development, and KPI-driven communication
  • Establish internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment strategy
  • Write effective schedules that align with the business strategy, in partnership with the General/Store Manager
  • Oversee Flow experience deliverables while protecting operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the General/Store Manager’s vision and work cross-functionally to support goals and achieve inventory and sales floor KPIs

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
  • Alo Guiding Principles alignment
  • Independent work ethic, time management, and personal accountability
  • Constant movement throughout all areas of the store
  • Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist; safe ladder use
  • Ability to stand and move for an entire shift

Schedule

All full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts. All employees must be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season.

The Company’s Assistant Store Manager base pay ranges from $32.00 - $36.06/hr. This role may participate in the Monthly Store Incentive program. This compensation range is one component of the total rewards package.
