Job Description
Perform web development work as a member of Information Technology (IT) Scheduled Releases team. Develop Java full stack with emphasis on front end implementation. Responsible for activities during all phases of the System Development Life Cycle including analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving software, data, hardware and reporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients.
Develops and tests Web Applications that meet design specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements. Documents current processes, reviews written specification additions/modifications and creates test cases for submitted defects involving new and modified program policies.
Analyze, design, and develop logical, structured programs and systems appropriate to customer needs which are well-documented programs and that may be maintained by others. Ensure adherence to program documentation and procedural standards, and management goals and objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will not be considered for this opportunity.
- 4-7 years’ experience in EAP 8, Java OpenJDK 1.8 or above, Spring Batch 2.1.8, iText-2.1.5, Squirrel SQL Client.
- 4-7 years’ experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x (RHEL), Red Hat Code Ready Studio 12.21.3.GA.
- 4-7 years proficient at migrating web content to RHEL 8 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL 8).
- 4-7 years proficient in web development.
- 4-7 years collaboration; ability to work effectively with web admin, Unix admin, and IT teams.
- 4-7 years content migration; skilled in migrating web content from legacy servers to current web servers.
- 4-7 years environment management; experience managing and migrating environments to RHEL 8.
- 4-7 years PHP development; expertise in server-side development using PHP.
- 4-7 years proficient with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
- 4-7 years’ experience in DB2 Database.
- 4-7 years knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP, secure coding) preventing common vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF, WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- 4-7 years’ experience with Government Regulations/Compliance.
- 4-7 years’ experience working with style guides and standards – Web Admins can help adjust to TWC standards.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 4-7 years’ experience using GitHub repository or other.
- 4-7 years’ experience in Visual Code Studio or similar.
