About the Opportunity
SweatHouz Newport Beach is seeking a Studio Manager to lead studio operations, drive membership growth, and deliver an exceptional guest and member experience. This role is responsible for building and motivating a high-performing team, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring the studio reflects the integrity and energy of the SWTHZ brand.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth
Achieve membership and revenue goals through new member acquisition and retention strategies
Leverage membership sales experience to consistently meet and exceed studio goals
Coach and mentor sales associates on sales techniques and product knowledge
Track and analyze membership KPIs to support data-driven decision making
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions and awareness campaigns
Leadership & Team Management
Build and lead a positive, engaged, high-performing team
Provide training, coaching, and career development for staff members
Lead by example with strong communication, customer service, and work ethic
Communicate with clarity and direction, avoiding over-explaining
Implement effective performance management practices, including reviews and feedback
Foster an empathetic approach when working with both staff and members
Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day studio operations, including scheduling, inventory, and staff assignments
Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and company protocols to provide a welcoming environment
Manage cleanliness standards, maintaining attrition under 7%
Be hands-on and willing to participate in cleaning responsibilities when needed
Identify and implement improvements to enhance both the employee and member experience

Qualifications
Minimum of 1–2 years management experience (preferably 2)
Proven success in membership sales (required)
Strong customer service background aligned with luxury brand expectations
Experience with MBO and AXLE is a strong plus
Current AED/First Aid/CPR certification required
Coachable, growth-minded, and empathetic toward both clients and staff
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and a 45–55 hour workweek

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $67,000 – $69,000 annually
Bonus: Up to $500/month based on studio performance goals
Hours: 45–55 hours per week
Health Stipend: $250/month if health coverage is needed
